How to Apply Surgical Critical Care Fellowship Top Positions Up to two fellow positions are filled each year. Eligibility For specific eligibility requirements, please refer to the GME benefits, requirements and resources page. Applicants who will be considered have: Completed at least three clinical years in an ACGME-accredited graduate educational program in one of the following specialties: Anesthesiology Emergency medicine Neurological surgery Obstetrics and gynecology Orthopaedic surgery Otolaryngology Surgery Thoracic surgery Vascular surgery Urology Fellows who have completed an emergency medicine residency must also complete one preliminary year of education in the surgery program at the institution where they will enroll in the surgical critical care fellowship.
