Welcome to the Laryngology Fellowship Program in the department of surgery at the University of Florida College of Medicine – Jacksonville. This one or two-year training program is designed for an individual who has completed a residency in Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery or General Surgery, and who has a desire to pursue additional training in laryngology. The trainee would gain experience caring for patients with voice problems, swallowing difficulty and airway/breathing problems. These include vocal cord paralysis, vocal cord tumors, laryngeal stenosis/trauma, subglottic and tracheal stenosis. Exposure to managing complex airway cases and airway reconstruction is anticipated for the trainee.
