Surgical Expertise Our patients can rely on the expertise of our surgeons — developed by years of training and experience performing complicated surgeries. As a part of a leading academic medical institution, our care teams also offer patients the most advanced surgical techniques and a high level of experience with minimally invasive approaches, such as robotic and laparoscopic surgery. More About Patient Care Research To better serve all of our patients, UF physicians are dedicated to finding innovative treatments through research. This commitment to moving medicine forward has brought advancements in surgical techniques and positive outcomes for those in our care. We will continue to collaborate with researches from other leading academic centers around the nation to advance foregut surgery and offer patients restored health and promising tomorrows. Education Our UF physicians also make an impact beyond the operating room. An important aspect of their work at our academic medical center is the education of future health care professionals. By training medical residents and physicians learning a specialty in a medical fellowship, our knowledgeable doctors are sharing the wisdom they have learned throughout their careers to help guide and mentor tomorrow’s top surgeons.
