Ziad Awad, M.D., FACS, is a University of Florida professor of surgery and a board-certified surgeon at UF Health Jacksonville. He also serves as associate chair for clinical operations for the UF Department of Surgery – Jacksonville; chief of the Division of General Surgery; medical director of the Minimally Invasive Surgery Program; and program director for the Complex GI Surgery Fellowship training program.
